In the beginning

In the beginning, lady Macbeth was a strong confident woman who wasn’t afraid to get her hands dirtied. She acts more confident than Macbeth who she thinks is weak. Which is why she was more focused and motivated in reaching goals of kingship for herself and her husband. Killing King Duncan was the milestone she needed to reach her goals with the help of her husband, of course, she said a “little water clears us of this deed.” But later in the play, she suffered from the guilt of Duncan murder. She was struggling to wash an imagined spot from her hand in her sleep. Which led to her sleepwalking and saying that” perfumes of Arabia will not sweeten this little hand.” Her wanting to wash Duncan bloods off her hands she begins scratching her hands until they bleed. Which eventually resulted in her committing suicide to take her life.
